London Value Chain Programme

Pera has been asked by the London Development Agency to bring London companies specific skills, resources and consultancy to help meet their current challenges and to rise to the next level. Delegates to the WiM Management training programme should all consider attending at least one of these workshops as the content augments the management training. If you feel that the support offered here through this programme would benefit your organisation then please do call Hamish Peters on the number below.

Examples of the support available are:

• Help to develop high profile but clearly focused marketing
• Examination of management competence and strategic vision with weaknesses and opportunities identified
• Development of value chain opportunities to achieve value propositions in a company's marketplace. This will often necessitate the engagement and development of existing or even new supply chains and will be underpinned by the use of diagnostic tools
• Sales capability– the development of realistic and achievable sales and marketing plans
• The achievement of effective “quality, cost and delivery” supplier development expertise
• Gaining access to relevant and appropriate market intelligence
• Strategic planning support – to build robust business planning processes
• Knowledge transfer of skills and competences
• Product or service innovation support
• Operational improvement
• Financial effectiveness
• Where necessary clients will be financially supported to access specialist skills and consultancy support through a grants application process
Pera will deliver the programme in close collaboration with other LDA initiatives such as Business Link for London, the Manufacturing Advisory Service and Supply London.

Companies interested in taking part in the programme, or simply finding out more about it, should email the Programme Director Hamish Peters, or telephone him on +44 (0)1664 501501. Alternatively, you can visit the London Development Agency website for more information.

The workshops listed below are free to attend and are held at CEME Campus in Rainham. Please contact Caroline Small on 020 8596 5143 for more details and to book your place.
